About Jordan

Hello!

My name is Jordan Aragon and I am a Junior at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. I am 23 years old and have been living in San Marcos for the past three years. I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and decided to move to San Marcos to further my education. I am studying Mass Communications with a focus in Advertising and a minor in Sociology. I hope to graduate within the next year.

I started this blog for a class that I am currently taking at Texas State called Fundamentals of Digital Media. This blog has been an ongoing assignment for our class and we were pretty much given free range for a topic choice. The instructions were simply to pick something you would enjoy blogging about. I had never had a blog before this so I was a little choosy on the topic. One thing I know I love and could talk all day about is beauty products and beauty tips. I love makeup and anything that makes a person feel happier with their already great self.

To make my blog a little more unique I decided to personalize the beauty tips and tricks to my lifestyle. I am in college and can’t really spend as much money as I would like to on beauty products and designer makeup so I made my advice “college friendly”. The tips and tricks are geared toward people with a lower budget, like myself. I give great product alternatives and tricks that you wouldn’t expect to work on a low budget. I am by no means a “beauty professional” but I have found some tips and tricks that work for me, so I thought I would share them with my WordPress friends! I hope my advice helps a few people!
